Russians Again Strike Kyiv with Drones 

Russian killers launched a drone attack on September 4 local time, targeting the capital of Ukraine.

During the evening assault, a strike hit a nine-story residential building in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, striking between the 8th and 9th floors.

Location: Holosiivskyi district, Kyiv.

Impact & Fire: The drone impact sparked a fire affecting the upper floors, covering roughly 50 square meters before State Emergency Service (DSNS) crews contained and extinguished it.

Casualties & Evacuations: Three people were injured in the high-rise structure, while emergency teams successfully evacuated 25 residents. An earlier statement from municipal authorities reporting a fatality was officially retracted as unconfirmed.

Broader Citywide Impact: Falling debris from intercepted drones was also documented across open ground and non-residential sites in the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts. Total casualties across the capital throughout the day reached 10 people injured.

This incident marks part of an extended campaign of consecutive daily aerial attacks on Kyiv. 

Counting today's strike (September 3 — the 4th in Ukraine) Russian forces have hit Kyiv for eight consecutive days. This relentless streak began on August 27, marking an unprecedented stretch of near-continuous aerial bombardment on the capital that has combined nighttime assaults with frequent daytime raids.

Defense reporting highlights that Russian forces are increasingly integrating jet-powered UAVs alongside standard Shahed variants to overwhelm air defenses and complicate interception times.
