‘Humanitarian’ Putin Still Kills Ukrainian Civilians
Recent reports highlight continuing heavy aerial attacks and infrastructure targeting across multiple Ukrainian regions that don’t substantiate President Donald Trump’s claim that Russian fuhrer Putin, the humanitarian, is doing fine on Ukraine.
The airborne strikes have heavily impacted energy grids, causing widespread blackouts and disruptions in urban centers like Kyiv, while civilian areas continue to bear the heavy toll of ongoing bombardments.
At the same time, diplomatic and political developments have been unfolding concurrently, with reports indicating ongoing friction in international backing, discussions on early-warning systems, and tentative movements toward renewed talks.
In the course of the day and into the night, relentless attacks struck multiple regions across Ukraine.
Total Reported Deaths: Local authorities and regional reports confirmed that at least nine people were killed across the country over the span of the day, driven by heavy drone and missile bombardments.
Injuries: At least 45 people sustained injuries ranging from blast trauma to shrapnel wounds. This includes multiple children injured during artillery and drone shelling in southern regions like Kherson, as well as casualties from fresh strikes hitting the capital.
Kyiv & Central Strikes: In Kyiv—including districts like Sviatoshynskyi and Dniprovskyi—residential high-rises, private homes, and a gas station suffered direct hits or severe damage from incoming drone and ballistic missile strikes, leaving parts of the city under emergency power restrictions.
Regional Shelling: In northern oblasts like Sumy and Chernihiv, ongoing missile and drone activity injured civilians and damaged local structures. Meanwhile, constant artillery and FPV drone attacks in the Kherson region battered towns across the Beryslav and Kherson districts, destroying private houses, vehicles, and burning out transport cars.
A few deaths or scores of fatalities, the result does not ease the pain for Ukrainians until Russia is subdued and pushed back to Russia. No surrender, no relinquishing of Ukrainian land to Russia.
